There are many reasons that you might be considering migrating away from Microsoft Windows, Office, and OneDrive. Microsoft’s products and services are full of privacy-invasive telemetry. They're pushing their AI, CoPilot, into every corner of the OS, even Paint and Notepad! Windows Recall is recording everything that you do on your computer to train this AI model while claiming it's to help you remember things you did on your own computer. Windows 11 has also become an ad platform, delivering ads straight to your start menu and littering your notifications with unwanted offers. Microsoft is making it harder and harder to even setup a computer without an online account. They have stopped supporting Windows 10 and older versions of Windows 11. Without this support, you no longer receive security updates! There are literally millions of perfectly capable computers in the world that Microsoft has decided don't deserve updating, requiring you stay on old versions that will become more and more vulnerable to new malware threats.
What is the alternative? Perform unsupported and potentially unsafe upgrades, or replace your machine with a brand new computer?
Fortunately if you're reading this then you know there's already an alternative OS without any of these shortcomings. Linux is a powerful, solid, mature, and user-friendly operating system that is highly capable of customization and operates very much like what you're already used to.

Test Drive - I'll bring a number of USB drives so we can boot to Linux without touching your data. We'll even try multiple distributions (including Linux Mint, Pop!_OS, Bazzite, and Aurora) and decide together which would be the best for your specific needs.
Backups - I'll backup your documents, favorites, and passwords. I'll even (optionally) make a complete image of your hard drive, in case you decide that Linux just isn't for you.
Installation
Setup - I'll setup your user accounts, your browser (including bookmarks and passwords, or even move you to a password manager), move over your documents, setup your cloud accounts, and even email accounts if you choose.
- Training, Q&A - After everything is setup I'll show you around the system, show you how updates work, how to install new software, to connect to wi-fi networks, offer an introduction to LibreOffice (a fully featured office suite to replace Microsoft Office, with no cost and no subscription fee, ever), and answer any questions you might have.
