I live with my wife and teen (when she's not at college) in Baltimore, MD, USA, where we’re active in our local church.

I’m an advocate for open source software, Linux, and privacy who has been installing and supporting Linux and open source software in businesses and schools since the early 2000s.

A few things about me:

• I believe everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, deserves respect and dignity, the freedom to live authentically, and the right to love and marry whom they choose. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
• Black lives matter.
• I’m a scifi nerd. I love Stargate, Star Trek, Green Lantern, and the Matrix.
• My preferred desktop Linux distros are Ultramarine Plasma Edition and Linux Mint Debian Edition, but I’m always running multiple distros.
• My preferred server Linux distros are Debian and TrueNAS.
• I’ve been using Linux since SuSE 6.2.
• I'm a cancer survivor.
